Hélio is a visual artist from Cabo Verde, West Africa and currently based in the United States.
Hélio aspires to create art and tell stories that are both nostalgic and reminiscent of his modern day. The most important factor in his artwork is to portray the "everyday"-ness of life and the people of the African Diaspora.
Using both traditional and digital mediums, Hélio continues to hone his craft and expand his artistic reach.
